SPRING PLAY TOMORROW - Flagler Drama Club's Production of Captain Nemo and His Magical Marvelous Submarine Machine is tomorrow, April 24th, at 7:00 PM in the Gym. Tickets are $3/person and can be purchased at the door. The Sophomore class will also be serving a Coney Island-themed dinner starting at 5:45 PM in the cafeteria for $12.00.

SOCCER CANCELED - Soccer Camp for this afternoon, 4/22, has been canceled due to wind and fires in the area. A make-up day has been scheduled for next Wednesday, 4/29.
Flagler School will be closed tomorrow, April 21 and all after school activities and practices are canceled. This afternoon, we received a Safe2Tell Alert that included information about a potential threat to the school. The threat was non-specific, but clearly referred to the school. Law enforcement is investigating to determine the credibility of the threat and the identity of the person responsible. If you have information about this situation, please contact the Kit Carson County Sheriff's Office.

Testing week is next week! 3rd through 8th Graders and Juniors will have CMAS tests on Monday and Wednesday, and Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors will take the PSAT and SAT on Tuesday. Please make sure your student gets a good night's rest and nutritious meals throughout the week to help them succeed. Contact the front office if you have any questions.
MCC will be at the school to administer the ACCUPLACER Test on Wednesday, 4/29, starting at 8:30. If your student is interested in taking MCC classes and hasn't taken the test or wants to improve their score, they must sign up at the front office by the end of next week. Contact Mrs. Bledsoe with any questions.
SPRING FAMILY FUN NIGHT is on Thursday, April 16th. All students and families are invited to join for a meal (Baked Ziti served by MS FBLA) starting at 5:30 PM, followed by a Puppet Show with Magic Dave at 6:00 PM.

KCC Public Health will come to administer meningococcal (meningitis) vaccines if at least three seniors are interested. If you would like your senior to receive this vaccine, please let Mrs. Bledsoe know by the end of the day on March 31st. This vaccine is required for many colleges, military branches, and other post-high school paths. This would be a convenient way to make sure your senior receives it and is all set for whatever they have planned post-graduation.
The Arriba-Flagler CDS Board of Education will hold their spring retreat on Friday, March 27th at 8:00 AM at the Wheatland Conference Center. This was originally scheduled for Monday, March 30th. The regular board meeting will still take place on March 30 at 7:00 PM at the Flagler School.
