SPECIAL BOARD STUDY SESSION - The school board has called a Special Board Study Session on Monday, May 5th at 6:00 PM in the Library. This will be used as orientation for the new Board Member, as well as a discussion of the 2025-2026 calendar.

EF TOUR INFO MEETING - There will be an information meeting on Sunday, May 4th at 5:00 PM about the EF Educational Tour to Greece in 2027. The trip is open to all high school students (at the time of the trip) and families. Contact Jack Daly with any questions - jdglendo@gmail.com.

SPRING CONCERT DETAILS - The Spring Music Concert is next Thursday, May 8th at 6:30 PM. 5th-12th Grade music students need to be in the music room by 5:30 PM. PK-4th Graders need to be in their classrooms by 6:00 PM. The theme is "Decades," so some classes are encouraged to come in themed outfits. NO TAPE ON LOCKERS - While we love all the decorations that staff, community members, and other students put on students' lockers, this is a reminder to NOT use anything but magnets - no tape or other sticky materials. This will help keep our new lockers looking new. There are rolls of magnet strips at the office if you are ever in need. Thank you for assisting with this.

FRIDAY SCHOOL THIS WEEK - This is a reminder that we will have school this Friday, April 25th as a snow day make-up day.

SCHOOL BOARD OPENING - This is a reminder that applications for the school board opening are due by the end of the day on Monday, April 21st. To apply, please submit a statement of interest and qualifications to Bethany Mounce at bmounce@af20.net. Interviews will take place on April 28, 2025, at a public meeting. To be eligible, you must be a registered elector of the school district. The appointee will serve until the next regular biennial election in November 2025.

LUNCH CHANGE - On Thursday, April 17, all students will be given a sack lunch with a ham sandwich, chips, cheese, fruit, and a cookie since K-12 will be doing their Panther Cup service projects. No other lunch will be served.

CHANGES FOR 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR - As this year winds down and we start getting things in place for next school year, there are a few changes coming to the calendar and daily schedule we want to make you aware of: - There will be no scheduled Fridays except for the Friday after Labor Day (September 5) and float-building day for 6-12 Grades (September 19). All other weeks will be Monday - Thursday. - The 6th Grade will be included in the Middle School, and the 5th Grade will stay part of the elementary but with only one primary teacher. - There will no longer be a nutrition break for Middle School and High School students. All students will be able to eat breakfast before school from 7:40 AM - 8:00 AM. Contact the administration if you have any questions about these changes.
