Tomorrow, 3/23, is Coco Cappuccino Day in the library! Please send students with some cash if they would like to participate. Items range from $0.50 to $2.00. Each student who was on first semester honor roll will receive a free baked good and drink compliments of the Panthers Boosters.

FASTER Colorado, the group sponsoring the law enforcement training at Flagler School during Spring Break, is seeking role-players for the training. If you are interested, please email Mr. Packer at kpacker@af20.net and we will put you in touch with the coordinator for more information. The role-players would need to be available for all or part of the day on Wednesday, March 18th.

REMINDER: The Flagler School will be hosting a multi-agency law enforcement training event March 16th-18th. The facility will be off-limits to all staff and community members between 8:00-5:00 on those days. You will see a large law enforcement presence around the school during those times.

Booster Club is selling Girls Basketball State Qualifier t-shirts and hoodies! T-shirts are $20, hoodies are $45. Orders placed by 5:00 PM today should be ready by Thursday. Otherwise, orders will be open through the end of the day on Saturday, March 14th. The girls have advanced to the second round of regionals! They will face ECA at ECA today, March 7th, at 2:00 PM. The game will be available on NFHS. Let's go, Panthers!

FRIDAY SCHOOL TOMORROW - There is school tomorrow, Friday, February 26th, for K-12 students. This is our last scheduled Friday of the year. Also, Elementary students will have Panther Cup, so please send their shirts.

REGISTER BY FRIDAY FOR PSAT/SAT PREP CLASS - Hi-Plains is hosting PSAT/SAT prep classes at the beginning of March. The Panther Booster Club will sponsor any Flagler student who would like to attend. RSVP to Mrs. Bledsoe by Friday, February 27th. See below for the rest of the details:

If the thought of standardized testing has you sweating at the mere mention, we have a solution! Hi-Plains School is offering SAT & PSAT prep sessions for all students interested. We are fortunate to have Mr. James Elliott leading the classes. Mr. Elliott is the current math teacher at Hi-Plains and has experience teaching for over 20 years. He is talented in many areas, including STEM subjects, technology, and is also well-versed in music. He has a passion for reaching out to kids and has taught standardized test prep classes with much success in Cheyenne Wells. The sessions will cover all subjects on the SATs and PSATs, the now-digitized testing format, and, very importantly, will familiarize students with the Desmos Graphing Utility. This modality is now used in the math section of the test. Please note that a heavy emphasis will be placed on the math section and the graphing utility. The students will receive a workbook to keep for working through problems and studying as needed during and after the sessions!

Who: Any 9th – 11th-grade students wishing to prep for upcoming SAT & PSAT testing! (The open window for school SAT testing is April 13 – 24th, 2026.)
Where: Hi-Plains School Cafeteria
When: Session #1 = Sunday, March 8, 2026. 1 pm – 5 pm. Session #2 = Monday, April 6th, 2026. 6 pm – 8 pm OR Sunday, April 12th, 1 pm – 3 pm (Please indicate your preferred date when registering)
Cost: FREE for Flagler students - compliments of the Panther Booster Club.
Food Situation: Of Course! …snacks, caffeine, and water will all be provided for students to keep brain function at optimal levels.
