Arriba-Flagler CSD #20

Due to the condition of the county roads, Flagler School will run the following bus mud routes starting Tuesday, 11/12 until further notice. These routes will only make the following stops: 1) Arriba Park - bus will leave the park at 7:30 AM 2) North of Flagler on CR HH (7:30), FF (7:35), AA (7:40) 3) Town Bus 2 stops - 8th & Pawnee / 6th & Pawnee - Normal Time If you cannot reach the following bus route stops, we ask that you please drive your child to school until regular bus routes can continue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may create. If you have any questions regarding the mud routes, please call the school. Everyone drive safe and we will see you all tomorrow morning!

Flagler School will be CLOSED tomorrow, 11/11 due to poor county road conditions and snow removal. Mud routes will be communicated out for Tuesday morning for buses to run on paved roads. We plan to start school on Tuesday, 11/12.

VETERANS DAY PROGRAM DATE CHANGE - Thursday, 11/14 The school Veterans Day program is now Thursday, November 14th at 10:30 AM in the Gym. Veterans and Community Members are welcome to join as we honor the brave men and women of our community and beyond. All are invited to join for lunch after the program. RSVP to Mrs. Bledsoe at sbledsoe@af20.net if you plan to stay for the meal. Students who will be performing, please wear red, white, and blue! This includes PK Monday students, all K-5th Graders, and 6th-8th Grade Choir.

Little Dribblers basketball camp is canceled for Saturday, 11/9 due to weather. We will make this camp up on Friday, 11/15. Little Dribblers will be on 11/15 & 11/16 - 9-11 AM. Have a great weekend!

HALLOWEEN EVENTS We have some fun events coming up on Thursday for Halloween! See below for details: 3:00 PM - Elementary Costume Parade through the halls. Family members welcome. 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM - Trunk or Treat in front of the school. (We are in need of more trunks! If you would like to provide one, contact Treeva Smith at 719-740-1231.) 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM. Chili Supper in the cafeteria benefiting the Football Team. CLASS PICTURES AND RETAKES Class pictures and retakes are TOMORROW, October 29th. If your child will be getting retakes, they need to bring any photos they ordered so they can be replaced. Contact Mrs. Bledsoe with any questions.

FLU SHOT CLINIC Kit Carson County Public Health will be hosting a Flu Shot Clinic at the school this Wednesday, October 23rd from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Students may only participate if we have received the completed permission form. More forms are available at the office. This clinic is also open to the public.

SCHOOL PICTURES School pictures are ready and should have been sent home with your student(s). If you did not receive the photos you ordered or the proof with information on how to order, contact Mrs. Bledsoe. Retakes and class pictures will be on October 29th. Please let Mrs. Bledsoe know if your child will be getting retakes.

LETTER JACKETS Reminder - the last day to order letter jackets to receive them by Christmas is October 25th. They are available for order online at the link below. There is also a large and XL jacket available for try-on in the office to help with sizing.
