PANTHER BOOSTER LETTER JACKET CONTEST - The Panther Boosters are giving away a letter jacket to a Flagler High School student! To enter: students individually create a poster, chant, TikTok-style video, or song that pumps up school pride. The more creativity, the better! The contest is open from today (10/6) through 10/20. The winner will be announced on 10/30. Submit entries to Sarah Bledsoe at sbledsoe@af20.net.

Everyone is encouraged to wear red tomorrow (10/6) for Dyslexia Awareness Month.

ASVAB TEST - Due to the Government Shutdown, the ASVAB test for Juniors that was scheduled for Tuesday, 10/7 has been postponed until further notice.

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES - Parent/teacher conferences are tomorrow, 10/3. All K-5th Graders should have received information on a meeting time from the classroom teacher. All 6th-12th Grade teachers will be available in their classrooms from 8 AM - 4 PM for anyone who would like to visit with them.

ADDED JH FOOTBALL GAME - A JH Football Game has been added for this Thursday, October 2nd, at Home versus Kiowa. Kick-off is at 4:30 PM.

CONDUCT AT SPORTING EVENTS - We love seeing our students come to support their friends and family at athletic events and other extracurricular activities! As a reminder, we ask that everyone follow the expectations outlined in the Student/Parent Handbook:
- Students in grades PK–8 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or another responsible adult.
- All students are expected to follow the Code of Conduct at all times while on school premises, including guidelines on dress code, language, and the use of tobacco products.

MISSING BASKET OF SUPPLIES - Yesterday at the bonfire, the student council basket with a cash bag, microphones, and other items was placed in the front seat of the wrong car by mistake. If you were at the bonfire and it was placed in your car, please return it to the school as soon as possible. The office will be open until 4:00 PM today.

NO SCHOOL FOR PK-5TH TOMORROW - Tomorrow, 9/19, is an attendance day for 6th - 12th grades ONLY to build homecoming floats. School will start and end at standard time, and buses will run as usual. There is NO SCHOOL for PK through 5th Grade students.

LUNCH CHANGE - Lunch on Friday, 9/19 for 6th - 12th grades will be sack lunches unless otherwise communicated by the class sponsors.

The Arriba-Flagler District Accountability Committee will hold its first meeting of the 2025-26 school year tomorrow evening (9/17) at 5:30 PM. The initial focus of the group this year will be on creating a district level strategic plan. If you are interested in participating in this process, please plan to attend. Thank you!
